- The BBC is producing a two-part adaptation of David Nobbs' 'The
Fall & Rise of Reginald Perrin', starring David Haig as
Reggie. The two one-hour episodes will be broadcast on BBC Radio
4 on November 13th and 20th, and will be subsequently available
on BBC iPlayer. Article.

- Leonard's first wife, actress Josephine Tewson, died on August
18th, aged 91. They were married from 1958 to 1961. Obituary.
April:
Rising Damp's creator, Eric Chappell, died on April 21st, aged
